Born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her roles in TV shows and films. Brandt started her career as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her character Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on numerous television series in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. Brandt portrays the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town in South African. The family moved to Auckland with her family when she was in her late teens. Her professional career began when she was model for print ads and commercial ads. In the years before she was a model with a protracted career, Brandt was a saleswoman in retail as well as an information-technology recruitment consultant. She played Leilani who was a native of New Zealand in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. In 2021, she had her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl named Naevia. In addition, she reprised her Naevia role in the prequel miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker and she co-starred in three different television shows, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in the Netflix hit series Lucifer. This happens to be her most memorable role so far. The show co-stars her alongside Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
