Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs in order to make ends meet. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy in her performance when in comparison to her peers. She began considering alternatives. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She was the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. It was a huge success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. First album of hers, Now I Letting You Go... It is the perfect accompaniment to her work of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to achieve international fame in 1980s as the Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career by releasing the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful songs, such as Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was which was released in 1995, features songs that are re-imagined from her biggest hits, such as the No MoreI Always Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale).
